Jen Phillips, Founder/CEO

Jen Phillips founded Red Light Public Relations in 2002, after several years as Entertainment Marketing Director of Puma USA. Her efforts at Puma successfully re-launched the brand in the US and created an ultimate fan base of Hollywood's elite. Phillips works with top entertainment and fashion media, celebrity stylists, talent, and management organizations in Los Angeles and New York. She prides herself on maintaining an eclectic mix of high profile clientele.

Christina Lara, Accessories Director

As an eager business student amongst investment bankers and accountants at the Anderson School of Management at UC Riverside, Christina never imagined she’d find her niche working with top fashion designers and tastemakers on a daily basis. After exploring different facets of the entertainment and fashion industries, she ultimately fell in love with the challenges and rewards found in fashion public relations. Since starting with Red Light PR in 2007, Christina has been at the helm of the firm’s women’s accessories division which continues to grow each season. On her down time, you’ll find her rummaging through the racks of her favorite vintage boutique in Eagle Rock.

Emily See-Winder, Senior Account Executive

Born and raised in the sunny south pacific city of Sydney, Australia, Emily made the journey to the US in June 1998. After pursuing a modeling career and dabbling in a 4 year stint with event planning, she completed her undergraduate degree at California State University Northridge majoring in Sociology and minoring in Marketing. Despite exploring many facets of social work and the non-profit sector, her interest, understanding and experience in the fashion industry led her to Red Light where she found her footing in fashion PR. Working alongside a team of account executives heading up the women’s division, Emily has spent the last year honing her skills and executing editorial placement in numerous arenas.

Pauline Isidro, Account Executive

Pauline is a true California girl: born and raised in Los Angeles, a graduate of the University of Southern California, and a die-hard Lakers fan. While earning her diploma in English and Creative Writing, she was unsure of the professional path she wanted take and cast the breadth of her education across a range of fields. Then a post-grad PR internship led her to Red Light PR, where she finally found a home. Never expecting that she would find her niche in public relations, Pauline now gets to work with her three passions everyday: people, writing, and fashion.

Jessica Washington, Account Executive

A Los Angeles native, Jessica graduated Cum Laude from California State University, Northridge where she earned her degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Apparel Merchandising. She interned with Red Light PR during her senior year of college and was introduced to her passion for the fashion and public relations industry. After college, she went to work in corporate public relations but found that her heart was not content. This is how she ended up back at the place she now calls home: Red Light PR. In her leisure time, Jessica enjoys spending time with friends and family, blogging or reading a good book.

Nancy Thuvanuti, Account Executive

Having discovered a love for fashion while raiding her grandmother’s vintage jewelry chest, Nancy spent many of her uniform-clad school days in New Jersey dreaming of a glamorous career in the fashion industry. After graduating from UCLA with top Latin Honors and a Communications degree under her belt, Nancy set her sights on making her dreams a reality. Through several internship positions Nancy realized that while it may not always be glamorous, fashion PR is where she truly belongs. A new addition to the RLPR team, Nancy enjoys playing tennis, watching Audrey Hepburn movies, and the occasional (or frequent) shopping excursion.

Jesse Spielvogel, Accounts Manager

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jesse graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science. While studying abroad in Europe, Jesse discovered his passion for the media and fashion industries. Shortly after the completion of college, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in public relations. It was not long before he found himself a perfect fit as showroom manager here at Red Light PR.

Kathryn Turner, Accessories – Account Executive

As a born and bred Angeleno, Kathryn opted to head east to attend college at the University of Pennsylvania where she was played varsity volleyball. She graduated from Penn with a degree in Communications and a minor in History. After her time in Philadelphia, Kathryn decided to leave the cold weather and returned to Los Angeles to pursue a career in public relations. She now assists Christina and Pauline in the accessories division.

Cara Ceasar, Men’s – Account Executive

Raised in Los Angeles, Cara began her college career at Arizona State University. After realizing California was truly where her heart was, she transferred to San Diego State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and a minor in English. After gaining experience involving product placement, event planning, and news writing Cara found a perfect harmony within the PR field. At Red Light PR she found that she had a true passion for the fashion and PR industry. Cara now assists in the Red Light PR men’s and shoe division.

Tanya Shalom, Women’s – Account Executive

Raised in Beverly Hills, Tanya was brought up to love the glitz and glam of the fashion world. After receiving her degree in Communications at UCSD, she returned to fast paced life she missed back home in Los Angeles where she pursued her dream working in the fashion industry. With various PR work under her belt, she knew she wanted to tie in her passion for fashion with the skills she had obtained. Her fervor for writing, fashion and entertainment ultimately led her to Red Light PR!

Yasmine Parrish – Women’s – Account Executive

Born in Atlanta, bred in D.C., and groomed in New York City- Yasmine is a graduate of Howard University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Print Journalism. Having interned in fashion publishing, production, and wholesale – Yasmine definitely went around the block to find where her passion truly lied and all roads led her straight to public relations. With a combination of writing, fashion, and entertainment Yasmine is excited to be a part of the Red Light team!

Matt Ambrose – New York Showroom Coordinator

The pursuit of fashion drew this Buffalo native to the bustling streets of New York City where he currently studies Fashion Merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Although Matt indulges in the finer things in life, he loves to spend his time at his favorite thrift shops and restaurants in Brooklyn. You'll find this avid blogger and his trusty crew of interns at RLPR's New York showroom alongside Jen Phillips as she opens Red Light PR NYC in 2010.

Sophia Ly, Showroom Manager

Growing up in Pasadena most of her life, Sophia pursued her further education studies at the University of California, San Diego. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, but always had an avid love for the fashion industry. Sophia looks to her dad for fashion inspiration – oddly enough, he is the main contributor of unique and one-of-a-kind pieces to her closet! No stranger to the entrepreneurial spirit—spending her summers working in her family’s businesses—Sophia knew at a young age that she wanted to be a successful business woman. Sophia has found the perfect balance of her two passions of business and fashion public relations as she started at Red Light the beginning of 2010.
